Cancer Connections, a traveling nationwide photo exhibition, uses black and white photography to illustrate the broad range of how cancer affects the lives of countless Canadians.
The exhibition features photographs of those touched by cancer: mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, sisters, brothers, friends and family capturing our hearts, inspiring us with their stories and engaging us in a conversation about cancer.
With two in five Canadians facing a diagnosis of cancer in their lifetime, it is more critical than ever to raise awareness about the disease and the impact it has on the lives of Canadians.
The backend technology used for Cancer Connections is CONVIO, which is an eCRM and CMS system. The Society uses this system for it’s ease of use, flexibility and features.
Landings Media collaborated with the Society staff in the design and development of the site. It also features a gallery of photos that were submitted by Canadians coast to coast.
